FF13 is a visula orgasm but it got repetitive after a while and the usual "hot plot" on this one seemed kinda holed in many parts, the ending really left kinda... bleah... I had more fun on Mass Effect.

As for AION I tried at a friends house, another visually awesome but on the long run unable to get you glued.

I am now hoping on WITCHER 2, I was quite unsatisfied with DA2.

I've been playing Final Fantasy games since i was 14 and been in love with them since FF7, i have too admit some of them got a little repetitive case in point no 12 was like that for me. I've played a little of 13 but not all the way through yet. I don't own a Xbox so when i wanna play i visit my younger brother and borrow his Xbox for the day lol.

Aion while beautiful yea can get very very boring after awhile, i used too just play for the prettyness.

Never heard of Witcher 2 and i don't play alot of MMO's so DA2 i most likely won't play lol.

Loved to play Anarchy Online back in its day!

Oh and I'd wish the creators of Final Fantasy would just toss out some Animes instead of games. Haven't played any FF since FF VIII really but their trailers and cinematics are just among the best out there..

And of course Guild Wars 2, wasn't a fan of the first part of the series but the gameplay vids and reviews actually make a pretty great impression!

FFVersus and GW2 have exellent chances, I won't be able to play another FF considering my PS3 supplier left me (I will miss you MetalGear). I played every FF from 5 to 13 (not 11 sorry and defenetly not playing 14), still I have a lot of nostalgic moments hearing the music.

I played 1 and it was fine so I hope number 2 will be even better.

I played the beta for AO, but Dark Age of Camelot was on the horizon and just a little more attractive with its medieval setting. It turned out to have the best PvP experience, ever! Until successive patches, 'fixes' and expansions ruined the game.

DAoC went live in early 2002...

An old-skool PvP vid, which won't make much sense to anyone who didn't play DAoC! These battles were all about teamwork:

I'll try GW2 next as it looks like WoW, with PvP.

Jason Susenko wrote:I'd say Planescape takes the cake on world-building. Dragon Age still has elves that live in forests and love bows, dwarves that live in mountains and swing hammers while getting drunk and battleraging, human empires that are corrupt and falling apart, and even a rightful heir to the throne of men who doesn't want the position. They're tropes taken straight from Tolkien that haven't changed in decades. Planescape at least threw everything out the window, not just as far as the environment is concerned, but even all the familiar tropes and metaphors we were used to seeing in RPGs so far.

Yeah, throwing everything typical out the window was kind of the point of Sigil. Angels and demons and magic and steampunk and humans and drow (the drow brothels are awesome). Hands down my favorite D&D campaign and Planescape was a great game. I used to say that if I ever made an rp sim, it would be Sigil. Built in layers with hidden doors, the bottom of each layer textured to look like city, so the sky overhead always showed the other side of the donut. *le sigh* And the best part? Very little restrictions. Elf? Sure. Dwarf? Sure. Demon-elf-halfbreed? Sure, if you want to copy my character, lol. Want to come in from the future? Awesome. The past? Great. Other rp sims? Have at. Sigil, the City of Doors, where impossible is only a suggestion.
